Door Access system is a unique range of products for the both home and commercial use. It is very convenient as the access system will automatically ensure the door is closed. For security purpose, door access system is capable in performing authentication and authorization. Authentication is the act of determining the identity of a user with the goal of verifying the user. Authorization is the act of determining the level of access that an authorized user has to behavior and data. Besides that, access control also able to track the suspicious transaction if unexpected incident happen during the period of time.

Access control systems are necessary to identify people in enterprises or other organizations and control access to facilities. Personal identifier with unique code (electronic key, magnetic card, chip-card or proximity card) is issued to every user of the system (all personnel of organization). When user wants to enter a room he puts his identifier to the reader, which reads a code. Then reader sends the code to control module, which keeps in memory list of codes that have access to the facility. If code that was read corresponds to any code in the list, control module gives signal to electronic door lock to open the door.

Some examples:
The public is allowed to go in the front door during office hours. The door will automatically unlock at 9am and lock again at 5pm. Anyone outside the building can get inside during these hours.

On the same door, it is necessary to allow people to enter outside these times. They will be issued with a credential (e.g. a card, key, or other identification means). They will then be assigned times in which they can enter. Some people may only have extended hours (e.g. 6AM to 11PM Monday to Friday), while others may have 24 hour access. It is possible to restrict access through doors, driveways, and lifts.
